SASSA Will Take Expert Services to Fernie Community

The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently traveling to the Fernie two Local community Hall in Mpuluzi to render providers to the community.

SASSA are going to be rendering expert services which include new social grant applications, change of payment method, consumer care enquiries, plus the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In an announcement, the agency said it is actually alarmed concerning the high amount of people counting on social grants for survival.
“The purpose on the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out into a higher range of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“That is as a result of lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there website is no completely functional office committed to service the area daily. The company stage developed for sassa status intervention activities a large influx of potential beneficiaries, that makes it hard for your status sassa Workplace to attend to all people who take a look at a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise far more resources to help the servicing of all consumers and increase usage of Social Assistance products and services,” the agency said.
